Chorley Flower Show Astley Park 31st July – 2nd August
The popular Chorley Flower Show will be returning this summer with a spectacular showcase of breathtaking floral displays, expert gardening demonstrations, and a myriad of engaging activities. That's not all, there will be talks by celebrity gardeners Charlie Dimmock and David Domoney, as well as a variety of trade stands and opportunities to stock up on all your gardening needs. Wanderland Cottam Hall Playing fields 25th July Wyre’s family-focused festival Wanderland returns this year, promising to be a fun-filled day for the whole family. Featuring live stage performances from children's favourites including Peppa Pig, K-Pop Superstars, and The Black Eagles African acrobatic and dance troupe. There will be photo opportunities with Peppa and the K-Pop team, as well as roving entertainers on the day. Plus, lots more family fun across three fun-filled zones featuring selfie stations, rides and even free gifts to create and take home. Clitheroe Food Festival Clitheroe 8th August The much-loved Clitheroe Food Festival returns this August, taking over this historic market town with a free showcase of standout food and drink producers from Lancashire and beyond. It’s a great chance to shop local and discover something new. Allow time to explore and enjoy the town’s independent shops, cafes and restaurants, the castle and its views across the Ribble Valley and Forest of Bowland.
