Heysham Viking Festival Heysham 18th – 19th July Enjoy a weekend of live reenactments, excitement and fun as the Vikings invade Heysham this July. Honouring the true Viking spirit, the village green will be transformed into a Viking encampment filled with the sights and sounds of the era. With plenty of activities and opportunities to immerse yourself in Viking culture and to learn more about Heysham’s fascinating past. SeekOut Arts and Music Festival Gisburn Forest 24th – 26th July Nestled in the stunning woodland of Gisburn Forest, SeekOut is a lovingly curated micro-festival, creating an intimate and welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels at home. Offering a mix of eclectic, high- quality live music alongside interactive art, theatre, wellbeing, and creative activities for all ages, this festival is a great way to experience the simple joys of being outside. You can even sleep under the stars in one of their luxury glamping tents.
