STAY OVERNIGHT ON THE SITE OF BRITAIN’S MOST HAUNTED HALL Have you got what it takes to stay on a site known for its ghosts? While the most haunted part of Samlesbury Hall is the Hall itself, its most well-known ghost The White Lady, has been seen in the grounds of the hall and on the road nearby. This beautiful hall turned 700 years old last year and has a lot of stories to tell. Be sure to catch a tour to hear them before settling down in one of the well-equipped and cosy Shepherd’s Huts on site. While in the area, head to the lovely market town of Leyland for a stroll around Worden Park. Perfect for the kids especially on a weekend Worden Park is home to great playgrounds, wonderful woodland and even a miniature railway, where you can hop aboard a tiny steam train. If fun transport is your thing be sure to visit the British Commercial Vehicle Museum in the town too!
