Whether you choose to explore Fleetwood and Cleveleys by foot on the ferry from Knott End on Sea, by tram from Blackpool or by car, this part of Lancashire is a great place to enjoy sandy beaches, fabulous food and seaside fun. The towns are only 2 miles apart, with a 5-mile accessible coastal path linking the two - perfect for a lovely stroll down the coast! Fleetwood is known as the birthplace of the famous Fisherman’s Friends lozenges and offers a great market, shops and things to do. Cleveleys has an up-and-coming foodie scene and a bustling town centre.

It is home to countless attractions, most notably The Blackpool Tower and at the other end of town, Pleasure Beach Resort. It's easy to spend a week in Blackpool and not run out of things to do! Its sandy beaches are great for building sandcastles and watching the sunsets, and you can even ride a donkey on them in the summer months too.
Don’t Miss: In Blackpool there are so many not-to-be-missed attractions, but don’t forget the one-off and spectacular annual events that the town has to offer too! Blackpool is known for its entertainment scene so be sure to check what comedians and shows are on when you visit, particularly at The Grand Theatre and Winter Gardens Blackpool which is a popular stop for some of the biggest touring and west end shows. There are also annual events like Rebellion Festival and The British Country Music Festival which are huge over the summer, not to mention Blackpool Air Show on the 8 th and 9 th August, Ride the Lights on September 1 st and the Blackpool Illuminations switch on at the start of September! 8
