A food story to be told, enjoyed and devoured, Moor Hall Restaurant with Rooms is one of England’s most celebrated restaurants. Awarded three Michelin stars, one of only two outside of London, and a Green Michelin Star the restaurant offers an outstanding tasting menu, and guests are invited to find out all about the use of local ingredients in the kitchen garden. Alongside the main restaurant is it’s more informal sister restaurant, The Barn (one Michelin star) making it a ‘must visit site’ for any foodie. Set within historic grounds, the restaurant boasts contemporary rooms in the Hall itself, plus a gatehouse, five luxury garden lodges nestled in the woodlands of the estate and two overlooking its lake. Alternatively, visit Sō-lō restaurant, also in Aughton. This one Michelin star dining experience is a more intimate affair. Recently refurbished to include a two cover chefs table, the restaurant delivers outstanding modern British cuisine, incorporating culinary influences from around the world.
