Visit Lancashire Summer Guide 2026

SNAP SOME STREET ART IN PRESTON Preston is really blossoming as a city of colour, with street art murals popping up around the city, entertainment venues offering lots to do and of course its music venues delivering live music over the weekends. Thanks to the Street Art Cities App you can easily find the locations of some beautiful artworks by a variety of street art artists, including local lad Shawn Sharpe who has delivered some incredible pieces including a tribute to Preston-born suffragette Edith Rigby, and a wall of past players at Deepdale Stadium. The historic tram bridge over the River Ribble has recently reopened, providing a nice riverside circular that takes in the beautiful Avenham Park and The Continental Pub; a great venue offering delicious food and amazing live music. Don't miss The Harris Museum and its brilliant exhibitions too, and after, grab a bite to eat in Michelin recognised restaurant Aven just off Winckley Square.
