A WALKING ADVENTURE Looking for a way to enjoy nature whilst soaking up the summer sun? Lancashire has some of the best walking routes in England, from short, gentle rambles to long distance treks, that take in some of the best views and vistas the county has to offer. If you need some inspiration, head to VisitLancashire.com, where there is a whole range of different walks to choose from. Find walks inspired by the Pendle Witches and renowned authors, heritage trails and industrial landmarks, and even some themed around Lancashire’s most famous foods. Exploring Lancashire is for everyone so you will also find information on wheelchair and pushchair accessible walks, as well as usually more inaccessible locations where you can now hire trampers (all- terrain mobility scooters) or beach wheelchairs. As always, if you do go on any of these walks, we want to make sure that our Lancashire countryside stays enjoyable for all so please make sure to follow The Countryside Code; closing gates, leaving no trace and respecting residents.
