Samlesbury Hall, near Preston Built in 1325, Samlesbury Hall is a medieval manor steeped in legend and festive charm. This year’s Christmas Fair Weekend takes place on 29–30 November, featuring over 50 artisan stalls, mulled wine, mince pies, and festive treats in the Garden Room Eatery. Families can meet Victorian Father Christmas on 7, 14, 20 & 21 December, and enjoy the immersive Charles Dickens’ Haunted House ghost story experience from 16–22 December. Lytham Hall This elegant Georgian mansion becomes a Victorian wonderland during “A Dickens of a Christmas” from 26 November to 4 January. Each room is transformed with Dickensian themes, festive music, twinkling lights, and a magical model village. Visitors can enjoy seasonal food in the café and explore the beautifully decorated rooms on a self-guided tour. Mitton Hall Hotel, Whalley A 15th-century manor turned luxury hotel, Mitton Hall offers a magical festive experience. Highlights include Christmas Party Nights

like the “Through the Decades” event on 29 November and a Masquerade Ball on 18 December, plus a Christmas by Candlelight concert on 22 December. Guests can also book a Christmas Escape- a two or three- night stay with festive dining, a Christmas Day lunch, and a hamper of treats. Browsholme Hall, Clitheroe As Lancashire’s oldest family home, Browsholme Hall offers a warm and authentic festive welcome. While regular tours pause for winter, Breakfast with Santa returns on 7 December, offering a delicious breakfast in the Cart Shed Café followed by a magical visit with Santa in the beautifully decorated Hall. Gawthorpe Hall, Burnley Experience a Victorian Christmas at Gawthorpe Hall on 29–30 November. The Elizabethan mansion will be dressed in traditional decorations, with festive music in the Long Gallery, crafts for children, and a visit from Father Christmas. Explore the Victorian kitchen, enjoy seasonal scents, and shop for handmade gifts.
